The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is one of the most internationally diverse universities in the state of North Carolina, alongside North Carolina State University. To celebrate this diversity and to unify us all together, UNC Charlotte organizes an annual international festival every fall semester. 2019 is the 44th year in this tradition, where different cultures from all around the world get together on one stage and give a candid glimpse of their exquisite cultures.
Students from India form a major part of the international community here at UNC Charlotte, harmonized together by the Triveni Indian Student’s Association at UNCC. As tradition has followed, a dance set is performed by a diversified group of Indian students from all the corners of the country, with varied sets portraying different dance forms.
Here’s a couple of glimpses of the set. Big shoutout to the Triveni Team for working day and night in choreographing the dance so perfectly, and for all the behind the scenes hard work. Scroll to the end for a link to the complete album with 150+ photos.
